The Joint Henley and Harpsden Neighbourhood Plan will set out a vision for the future of Henley and Harpsden to 2027. Neighbourhood Plans must conform to strategic planning policy, which includes the National Planning Policy Framework and the District Council’s adopted South Oxfordshire Core Strategy 2012. One of the key challenges for the Plan is to identify land for at least 400 homes at Henley, as set out in the Core Strategy.
Working Groups made up of volunteers have been developing the Neighbourhood Plan over recent months and have established draft visions, objectives and site assessment criteria. The list of potential housing sites has now been clarified. This consultation seeks public views on the work undertaken so far and initial feedback on all the potential development sites.
