With the rainfall last night the river has now broken the banks in Henley. Mill Meadows is now looking like a lake and the footpaths are now impassable and should be avoided.

Environmental Agency Statement for River Thames for Henley, Remenham and Medmenham; including Middle and Lower Assendon on the Assendon Stream, and Skirmett and Hambleden on the Hambledon Brook is as follows:
River levels on the River Thames are continuing to slowly rise in response to recent rainfall. There is a flood warning in place for this area, meaning that property flooding is expected for those properties closest to the river. The weather forecast today (Monday 6 January) will see some heavier bursts of rain.
