Reading Accordion Group made up of Chris Easton, Tony Banks, Sue Titorenko and Brit Papierowski played a medley of Christmas carols and songs including the Can Can which got the audience dancing along and Moonlight Seranade.
The venue was The Hub in Station Road and the performance was from the office balcony and the two partners for the evening were companies based there – the Fidelity Group (communications service provider) and The Communications Group (Digital Marketing, Multimedia and IT solutions organisation). The audience enjoyed Scandinavian refreshments provided by the two companies which were a glass of glögg or kiddies’ snaps together with nibbles of delicious traditional kottbullar (meatballs) and kanelbullar (cinnamon spiced buns) in their candlelit woodland setting in the Hub foyer.
There were three fantastic raffle prizes – a family ticket for four to the Children’s Christmas Festival which runs from 21st-23rd December at Wellington Country Park in Berkshire ( http://thelittlewelly.uk) , a training package from Expert Fitness Studio in Henley’s Bell Street which includes a full assessment followed by three 1 hour training sessions with your personal trainer (http://expertfitnessstudio.com) massage from Jessica from Massage for Everyone based at the Red Lion Hotel.
