Another super performance at the Living Advent Calendar last night at the River & Rowing Museum which was attended by well over 100 people. The audience was treated to a performance by members of the Henley Choral Society, conducted by Wendy Hawkins. They opened the performance with a real upbeat ‘Ding Dong Merrily on High’ followed by ‘Good King Wenceslas’ which the audience joined in with the men taking the part of the king and the ladies taking the part of the page. After that the audience joined in with ‘See Amid the Winter’s Snow’ and the finale was  ‘Gaudete’ when Wendy accompanied the singing playing a drum.

The evening was sponsored by Sotheby’s International Realty and the raffle prizes were kindly donated by the River & Rowing Museum which were a year’s membership to the museum and bags of small Wind in the Willows’ character soft toys.

Tonight’s performance will be outside Boutique 96 on Friday street at 6.15pm and sponsored by the Anchor Pub.
