First Public Consultation on Potential Neighbourhood Plan Sites

jhhnp-logo-no-borderOn Friday 13 December & Saturday 14 December at Henley Town Hall residents will be invited to take part in the first stage of consultation on the work that has been progressed by the voluntary ‘Working Groups’ that are developing the Joint Henley and Harpsden Neighbourhood Plan.

The consultation will specifically focus on the vision, objectives and site assessment criteria established so far as well as seeking preliminary views on the full list of housing sites that have been made available. The housing sites have been put forward by landowners for different timescales – for example Empstead Works is thought to be a potential housing or mixed use site in around 10 years time (2023).  The Developers representing the various sites will be exhibiting information and will be available to answer any questions.

The consultation will be open until 13 January 2014 with feedback forms available from the Town Hall and the Neighbourhood Plan website, www.jhhnp.co.uk.

Once the public consultation is complete, the Working Groups will use the results, alongside the site assessments, to establish preferred housing sites and draft Neighbourhood Plan policies. These will undergo further consultation in Spring 2014 before being submitted to South Oxfordshire District Council.

These Public Consultation Drop-in sessions will be held in the Council Chamber at Henley Town Hall on:

Friday 13 December – 12noon until 8.30pm

Saturday 14 December – 10am until 5pm
