On 14 November between 12pm and 10.35pm a property in Mill Lane, Henley was burgled.  Offender(s) have forced entry to a rear window and stole items including two Samsung mobile phones.

At approx 2.45am yesterday (20 November offender(s) broke into a property in Hop Gardens, Henley. Entry was gained via a rear window.  Offender(s) were disturbed and made off; nothing appears to have been stolen.

Between Thursday 14 and Tuesday 19 November a property in York Road, Henley was burgled.  Offender(s) forced entry via a rear window. No property stolen.


Attempted Burglary

Unknown offenders  have attempted to gain entry to a ground floor property on the Fairmile in daylight hours on the 14 November. Attempts were made to gain entry via kitchen window,  living room window and a bedroom window but no entry has been gained.


Suspicious Entry – Wire Fence Cut

A resident of a house in Woodlands Road, Harpsden on 14 November has noticed a rear wire fence has been cut by unknown offenders near by. There are tyre tracks in the neighbouring field, which appear to belong to a 4×4 vehicle possible using standard road tyres. No attempt has been made to gain entry to the house.


Heating Oil Stolen

Between 3 November and 7 November unknown offenders have stolen 1200 litres of heating oil from an outside oil tank at a house in Harpsden. They have simply opened the unlocked cap.


Cosmetic products were stolen on 9 November from Boots by a suspect described as a white 50s male, slim built, rough unshaven looking, 5ft 7ins tall, grey hair wearing a black leather jacket and black trousers.


On 11 November around 1600 hours a suspect described as a white male with short shaven hair, 5ft 11ins tall, well built, wearing a brown leather three quarter length jacket, light blue jeans and with a strong Eastern European accent entered One Offs on the Reading Road and browsed.  After 5 mins the offender then left the store and the owner noticed a plate had been stolen. The owner then searched the area for the male and found him in the Cancer Research shop in Duke Street. The male suspect was holding the stolen item under his right arm. The shop owner has then grabbed plate with no struggle but the offender has pushed him in the chest and ran out of the shop.


On 16 November at around 1150, two suspects described as white, both with stubble and dark hair, around 5ft10/5ft11, one wearing a bike helmet and the other wearing a blue helmet, with cockney accents, wearing shoes with no socks entered Waitrose and selected meat and then made off with two bags of meat on a black Aprillia SR Motard 125 Scooter.


Damage to Vehicle

A black Ford Mondeo Ghia X parked in Badgemore Lane overnight on the 10 November has had the nearside mirror smashed.


Bicycle Stolen from Shed

Between 4 November and 16 November a bicycle has been stolen from a shed on Northfield Avenue, Lower Shiplake.


Police are asking the public to be extra vigilant. If you have seen any suspicious looking people or vehicles in the area or have any information relating to this message please call the police on 101.
