The next meeting of the Henley Transport Project will take place next Monday, 18 November at 7.30pm in the King’s Arms Barn (see below for directions)
There will be updates from 3 working groups on:
- Air Quality
- Car Sharing
Members of ‘Watlington against HGVs and Pollution’ will be joining us. Watlington has similar problems to Henley in terms of these 2 issues so it will be useful to hear how they are tackling the problems.
There will also be reports from the Northfield End residents about their campaign against HGVs driving through the town as well as an update from Shiplake Parish Council about their campaign for a safe cycle route from Shiplake to Henley.
Final Reports on the major Summer Project with Henley College will be available at the meeting. Dr Karen Anderton from the Transport Studies Unit at Oxford University, who acted as consultant to the project, will also be attending.
It promises to be a very informative meeting. All welcome!
