Lots of pretty mermaids and scary pirates arrived at the River & Rowing Museum yesterday for a fun day at the museum. Mr Toad even dressed up as pirate to greet the children.
The children had great fun singing songs, making pirate hats, mermaids and telescopes as well as finding yummy chocolate buried treasure around the museum.
There was a competition for the scariest pirate and the best dressed mermaid. Edward Copland (pictured right), aged 1 from Sonning Common won the scariest pirate and Seren Chopra (pictured below), aged 5 from Twyford won the best dress mermaid.
