TVPlogoShoplifting from Charity Shop

On 4 October at around 1150 hours a suspect described as white, male in his 40s, short and slim wearing a black t-shirt, a black jacket,black trousers and a cream baseball hat wemt into the Cancer Research shop on Duke Street and stole a DVD without making any attempt to pay. A member of staff and the Shop Manager recognised the gentleman from a previous shoplifing crime.

Theft from Vehicle

A Volkswagen White Transporter Van which was parked on Niagara Road was broken into on the night of 8 October. The offender has gained access to the vehicle using a tool and causing damage to the rear offside door. They have made an untidy search and stolen property

Violent Behaviour from Minibus Passenger

On 10 October at around 1640 hours a gentleman was in Market Square chatting to his friend when a white minibus passed them going up Gravel Hill and he heard a gentleman shout ‘Oh hello’ in a posh voice coming from the minibus. Immediately after this a coin hit him in the chest and he believes it came from the direction of the rear passenger side of the minibus.

House Burglaries

Offender (s) have gained entry on 10 October to a rear garden in West Street from over a fence from Townlands Hospital and then tried to force French doors causing damage but not gaining entry and have then forced the rear sash window open. They have entered the property via the kitchen, gone through the lounge and stolen a vehicle key from the sideboard in the lounge

On the 12 October offender(s) have appeared to have climbed over a wooden fence into a property on Marlow Road and have smashed a rear kitchen door and turned the key in the door to gain entry. A tidy search has been conducted of the house. Two laptops were taken – one from the sitting room and one from a bedroom.
