Dave Eggleton and Paula Isaac who are organising the charity Auction of Promises tomorrow night (Saturday 28) at the Town Hall were delighted to receive a unique lot from Olivia Harrison this week of a box of vinyl records. Dave said, “We’re delighted to have something as special as this for our auction and the box even has Friar Park on it.”
The event starts at 7pm with the auction starting at 8pm. There will be a bar serving drinks throughout the evening.
Another special lot has also been donated by Debbie Flood. Her auction item is to have a tour of the Leander club and tea afterwards with Debbie and the opportunity to take photos.
As well as the auction of promises there is a raffle with cash prizes and days out at local attractions.
All profits made from the event will be going to 5 local causes – Gainsborough Residents Assoc to redevelop Makins Recreation Ground, Bishopswood School, Headway Henley, Thames Valley Air Ambulance and Childrens’ Cancer Leukemia Group.
Please go along and support this great charity event.
