mark-harlingHenley Chief Inspector Mark Harling is setting off on a 100km charity walk this weekend in aid of the Make a Wish Foundation UK. He will participating in the Thames Path Challenge on Saturday (14 September) which starts near to Putney Bridge, then through leafy Kew and Richmond, passing the Royal palace of Hampton Court, and onwards to Henley on Thames.

He will be walking with his police colleague John Donachy who talked him into doing it.

The Make a Wish Foundation UK charity aims to grant magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions. A wish granted is truly magical and provides memories that last a lifetime.

The Henley Herald would like to wish him good luck for this fantastic challenge and look forward to hearing all about it afterwards.
