The Henley College’s Principal, Tom Espley, has recently been appointed Chair of the Association of South East Colleges.
Established 2000, AOSEC is the regional organisation representing and serving colleges in South East England. The membership comprises 62 further education, sixth form and specialist colleges.
Mr Espley said: ‘I am delighted to be Chair of the Association for the South East region this year. The organisation represents the sixth form and further education colleges from Buckinghamshire to Kent.’
AOSEC says it aims to ‘form strategic relationships with key education and skills organisations to ensures that colleges’ views are articulated and understood, and enable policy makers to make well-informed decisions affecting the sector.
‘AOSEC provides colleges with opportunities, support and information which will enable them to take an active role in education and skills related developments, as well as to provide world-class teaching and training.
