After a record start to ticket sales, the Henley Literary Festival brings its box office to Henley Market Place for one day only tomorrow (Saturday August 3rd).
Tickets to this year’s festival, which takes place from September 30th to October 6th, went on general sale on Wednesday after a presale to Friends of the Festival. More than a dozen events, including Ann Widdecombe, Deborah Moggach and Giles Coren have already sold out. But with more events than ever before, tickets remain for over 80 talks, interviews and readings including Dan Snow, Rachel Johnson, Robert Harris, Liz Jones and Craig Brown.
The live box office and information desk will be based in the Market Place from 10am-3pm tomorrow. Visitors to Henley Town Regatta might find the events with Katherine Grainger and James Cracknell of interest, while those heading to the Hideaway Festival in Fawley might enjoy Graham Nash, Andy Kershaw or the Ukulele Handbook.
